It also provide with a on/off switch in the camera there can be the case if you turn it off all the pictures can accidentally can get erased. And while keeping the camera on the rechargeable memory keeps the memory alive but this will consume the battery so the good idea is to transfer it into computer. The mini do not work fine in low light conditions. It would be annoying if one tries to take a picture
